# Start Here — Windows 11

1. Install Node.js LTS (20+) and Python 3 from their official websites.
2. Extract the project to `C:\BuchiPay-UTI-Automation`.
3. Open PowerShell in that folder.
4. Run the offline verifier:

python scripts/verify-project.py
```

5. Install project packages (requires internet):

```powershell
npm run install:all
```

6. Install Playwright Chromium (requires internet):

```powershell
npm run install:browser
```

7. Terminal 1:

```powershell
npm run dev:server
```

8. Terminal 2:

```powershell
npm run dev:web
```

9. Open `http://localhost:5173`.

Local demo credentials: `admin` / `ChangeMe123!`. Change these before any shared deployment. Keep `UTI_AUTOMATION_MODE=MOCK`, `UTI_WRITTEN_AUTHORIZATION=false`, and `UTI_LIVE_SUBMIT_ENABLED=false` until live portal authorization, selectors and verification evidence have been reviewed.

The app can manage local requests in its own database. It does not yet create users or transfer funds on UTI.
